Story

Born with a passion for the outdoors and a knack for educating others, Samantha has crafted a diverse and enriching journey through various professional roles and volunteer activities. 

​

Samantha’s early adventures began at Girl Scout Camp Sacajawea in Newfield, New Jersey during high school, where she developed a deep appreciation for nature and outdoor activities. This initial exposure sparked a lifelong interest in exploring local State Parks and hiking trails, fostering a strong connection to the natural beauty of South Jersey.

Upon entering college, Samantha pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Secondary Education, complemented by a minor in Psychology. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for a career dedicated to teaching and mentoring young minds. 

Following graduation, Samantha embarked on a path in early childhood education, spending four years at the Goddard School of Jackson, NJ. Here, she honed her skills in nurturing and educating children aged 6 months to 6 years, fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment. 

​

Transitioning into the corporate world, Samantha took on the role of Administrative Assistant at American Asphalt Company, where she gained valuable experience in business operations and management. This role paved the way for a significant career advancement to Medical Staff Office Coordinator at North American Spine & Pain, demonstrating Samantha's versatility and leadership capabilities. 

 

In addition to her professional endeavors, Samantha remains deeply committed to community service and outdoor exploration. She volunteers with the Shamong Township Girl Scouts, playing a pivotal role in organizing the annual Community Camping trip and mentoring young girls in leadership and outdoor skills. 

 

Further demonstrating her dedication to education and community involvement, Samantha is actively engaged with Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority at Temple University, where she supports and guides students through various stages of college life. Samantha is the Advisor for Membership Development and plays a pivotal role in assisting the Vice President of Membership Development with New Member Education as well as Alumni Engagement. 

​

Drawing on her passion for outdoor adventure and commitment to safety, Samantha has pursued First Aid and Lifeguard training in the past and plans to obtain Wilderness First Aid certification to enhance her skills in handling outdoor emergencies effectively. 

 

Throughout Samantha's journey, she has consistently demonstrated a proactive approach to learning and growth, combining her love for education with a deep-seated passion for nature and community service. As she continues to explore new horizons and make a positive impact in her community, Samantha remains dedicated to inspiring and empowering others through education, outdoor exploration, and leadership.
